Thundereggs are found in many locations around the world. Formed as trapped gas bubbles in molten lava flow; when cooled the outer shell cracked and allowed siliceous liquids to enter the gas bubble, then turning solid to form these mysterious centers made up of agate, chalcedony, jasper and quartz.
The Thundereggs used to make these pendants are from Queensland, Australia. Each Thunderegg is cut into slices and hand polished to display their natural inner beauty; fitted with solid sterling silver bale, ready to wear on your favourite necklace.
Approximate size of each pendant is 30mm x 30mm x 5mm.
